WELCOME TO VILLA CALATRUE
In this guide you will find all the information you need to enjoy your stay: how to use the house, house rules, local services, and places of interest in Tabernas and the surrounding area.
1. ARRIVAL, ACCESS AND CHECK-IN TIMES 🕒 🔑 🚗
🕒 Check-in & check-out times
• Check-in: from 15:00 h
• Check-out: before 12:00 h
Whenever availability allows and there is no check-in or check-out by other guests on the same day, you may ask about the possibility of an earlier check-in or a later check-out.
We kindly recommend letting us know in advance so we can check availability and confirm if possible.
📝 Guest Registration (Check-in Form)
In accordance with current regulations, all guests are required to complete the registration (check-in) form, providing their personal details and a valid identification document.
This process is generally completed online in a simple and quick way, through a link that we will send you. However, if you experience any difficulty completing it, please don’t worry—just let us know and we will find the best way to assist you.
🔐 Access to the property🔑
Access to Villa Calatrue is self check-in. Once the online check-in has been completed, you will receive an access code that will allow you to collect the keys to the property.
The keys are kept in a key safe located next to the column at the main entrance of the house.
🚗 Parking
Villa Calatrue has private parking within the property, accessed through the large gate located to the right of the house, just after the pool wall.
Some guests prefer to park their vehicles on the open area outside, next to the house. This is entirely up to you and depends on your personal preference.

You can enter “Villa Calatrue Tabernas” directly into Google Maps. Follow the directions along the N-340a road towards Paraje El Marchalillo (Tabernas).
During the journey, you will find signposts that will help you reach the property easily.

5. HOUSE RULES
In order to ensure a pleasant stay and allow future guests to enjoy the property in the same conditions, we kindly ask you to take the following rules into account:

Guests must respect the property and its furnishings.

The house must be left in the same condition as it was provided.

Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
-
Only the number of guests registered in the booking are allowed to stay at the property.

Noise levels should be kept reasonable, especially during rest hours.

At the end of your stay, please remember to collect your personal belongings and food, and dispose of rubbish in the container located at the end of the access road when leaving the property.

Pets are not allowed on sofas or beds.

Pets should not relieve themselves inside the house or on the outdoor paved area.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE
We recommend not walking barefoot and not sleeping directly on surfaces in contact with the ground, especially during summer, as this is a rural and arid area where small crawling insects may occasionally appear.

9. LOCAL FESTIVALS AND EVENTS🎉🎉
🎆 San Juan Festival – Tabernas: The San Juan festivities in Tabernas are celebrated around 24th June, with activities usually taking place between 20th and 24th June.
🎡 August Fair & Festivities – Tabernas: The main celebrations are centred around 14th August. During these days, the town hosts a wide range of cultural and sporting activities, concerts, competitions, processions and open-air dances.
🎬 Tabernas International Western Film Festival, in October, fills the town with cultural activities, film-related events and western-themed recreations.
10. PLACES OF INTEREST IN TABERNAS 🏜️
MINIHOLLYWOOD OASYS: A Wild West theme park featuring live shows, a zoo and a swimming pool (https://minihollywoodoasys.com/). This place was Hollywood’s cinematic paradise during the 1960s and 1970s. Many famous actors walked its sets, including Clint Eastwood, Brigitte Bardot, Anthony Quinn, Claudia Cardinale, Alain Delon, Sean Connery, Raquel Welch and Orson Welles, among many others.
FORT BRAVO – TEXAS HOLLYWOOD: Another western theme park with over 20 hectares of film sets, horse-drawn carriage rides, rural cabins, a military fort and an Indian camp.
ALMERÍA CIRCUIT: Located on the N-340a road, Km 483, 04200 Tabernas, the Almería Circuit is a 4.2 km racetrack set in the Almería desert, ideal for leisure, testing and events.
TABERNAS FORTRESS: An 11th-century Arab fortress offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
TABERNAS DESERT: Signposted hiking routes (Desert Viewpoint, Castillejos Route), 4x4 routes, horse riding and guided excursions (www.malcaminos.com).
TABERNAS STREET MARKET: Takes place every Wednesday (except on public holidays) at Glorieta de España, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

ℹ️ Beach tips:
To visit many of these beaches during summer, it is advisable to arrive early in the morning (around 9:00 am), as parking capacity is limited.
Some beaches, such as Los Genoveses, El Barronal or Monsul, are located within a natural park and require a €6 access fee per vehicle.We recommend bringing sun protection, a parasol, water shoes, food and plenty of water, as there are no nearby restaurants at these beaches.
To avoid windy days, we suggest checking the local weather forecast. You may also download the “Bicheando Almería” app, which shows the flag colour of each beach and offers live video feeds, as well as many other activity ideas in Almería.
